About us

We’re a specialist equine rehabilitation and fitness centre providing a wide range of therapies to enhance the health, conditioning and wellness of the horses we care for.

Our story

We’re a long-established equestrian facility with a warm, approachable and friendly team who are passionate about horses.

As a family-run business for more than 30 years, our reputation in the industry is second to none. We provide bespoke care, rehabilitation and conditioning training for horses of all disciplines, from show jumping, racing and three-day eventing to dressage and showing.

We’ve designed and built our facilities at Froglands Stud Farm to offer a state-of-the-art yard backed by years of equine knowledge and expertise to help achieve the best results for your horse. We’ve also tried to keep the environment at Froglands as natural as possible to ensure your horse feels happy, relaxed and content during its stay with us.

Our mission

Our business is built on our desire to provide the best possible service and care to suit every horse’s needs. Our clients trust us because they know we have every horse’s best interests at heart.

We strive to provide the best rehabilitation care for horses of all disciplines, whether fitness or conditioning programmes or rehabilitation from injury. We focus on providing the very best care, using state-of-the-art equipment. We’re committed to ensuring that each horse has a tailor-made package.

Our passion for horses drives everything we do. Every relationship is built on a partnership between the horse, the client, relevant specialists and our founder, Claire Dyson.

About Claire Dyson

Claire Dyson heads up the team at  Froglands. A former jockey and showjumper, she’s ridden, trained and owned winners under point-to-point and National Hunt rules.

She started riding at the age of two and has been rehabilitating and training horses professionally for more than 30 years.

Our chosen charity

The Midlands Air Ambulance is our chosen charity. It operates and funds three air ambulances covering six counties across the Midlands region – Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

The charity does such vital work in ensuring paramedics, doctors and equipment can reach the scene of accidents and emergency incidents quickly, to give people potentially life-saving attention. Each year it costs in excess of £10 million to maintain the three aircraft and provide its service. The charity does not receive funding from the Government or National Lottery for its daily missions so relies entirely on the support and generosity of local people and businesses.

Over the years, we’ve helped raise more than £103,000 for the charity, as well as sponsoring an annual race in memory of Charlotte Cole, a valued and much-missed friend and team member.

If you would like to donate to the fund, you can do so by contacting Charley.Burke@midlandsairambulance.com or call 01384 887 900.
